What about Home Study Traffic School?

Home Study traffic school is an option offered by numerous courts to fulfill requirements in the California Vehicle Code, to have your traffic citation resolved without a conviction on your DMV record, as long as the court authorizes the program in whose jurisdiction the citation was issued.

Who says I am Eligible for Home Study Traffic School?

Each court sets their own standards for Home Study programs. Others make it available only to out-of-state violators. Always check the printed materials you received from your court or call the court, too make certain of your eligibility. The court that has issued you your citation will mail out a courtesy notice, it will be your responsibility to pay the bail amount and to see if you are eligible to attend traffic school before attending any traffic school course. If you do not receive a courtesy notice from the court 30 days after receiving your citation, you should call the court that has issued you your citation.

How long will it take to complete the on-line program?

Our program is completely self-paced. We have no time restraints on our program. We do suggest that you do take your time, as this will make taking the quizzes and final exam easier for you. Remember that we will allow you to review all course material during quizzes and final exam. If you received your Citation in LA County Courts, you do have a time requirement. All LA Students must meet a 400 minute time requirement, before being allowed to there final exam

Do I have to complete the program all at one time?

No! Our site will allow you to enter the program as often as you like. Every time you complete one of the lessons, your course status will be saved. When you want to re-enter your course in progress, simply go to our homepage at www.onenotguilty.com and click on Customer Login. Now to access your course, you will be required to submit your driver's license number given during registration.

How soon will I know if I passed the final exam?

Immediately! Our web site will notify you immediately if you have passed or failed. If you have received a passing score of 80% or better you will be directed to a "Congratulations" page. If you were not taken to a "Congratulations" page you did not pass or our school did not receive your final exam. You will have to retake the final exam without any additional charges. If you are having problems submitting your final exam in you may email it to the school or fax it into the school. Fax number is 1-760-956-3911

How do I receive my certificate?

We maintain over 100 courts and each has specific needs. All students receive their student copy of the Certificate of Completion for their records either in a email or by printing out from our site. The student copy will be mailed within 24 hours after completion of the final exam (with the exception of weekends and holidays). The original copy will be sent to either the student or court depending on each courts requirements.

Why am I being directed to another site for my Final Exam?

If you’ve received your Citation in Butte, Glenn, Lake, Lesson, Imperial, Riverside, Napa, Santa Cruz, or Ventura County, your courts require you to take a 40 question Final Exam. You must answer 32 or more questions correctly in (80%) to pass. You will be directed to another site for your Final Exam. Once you have successful passed your final exam, a certificate of completion will be mailed directly to the courts on your behalf. For online students a copy will be sent for you online. For workbooks, a copy of your certificate of completion will be mailed to you for your records.

These courts contract with a third party (Net Integrated Systems NIS). Not Guilty Traffic School does not issue your Certificate of Completion. All Certificate related questions or any regards to your Certificate of Completion should be directed to them by calling 888-647-3926. * If you received your citation in (NIS) counties you are required to complete the program 10 days prior to your Due Date

Tell me about the UPS shipping option.

THERE IS AN EXTRA CHARGE OF $45.00 FOR THIS OPTION

If you choose the UPS option for your Certificate of Completion, it will be sent to the address given during registration or directly to the court where you received your citation (depending on the courts requirements).

Attention: If you have received your citation through  Butte, Glenn, Lake, Lesson, Imperial, Napa, Riverside, or Santa Cruz counties, these courts contract with a third party (Net Integrated Systems NIS). Not Guilty Traffic School does not issue your Completion Certificate, you must call (888) 647-3926 for Certificate options. Do not Choose UPS Option if you are in (NIS) counties.

All certificates are sent with a signature release, that way the package will be left for you if there is no person at the location that can sign for it

UPS cannot deliver to a PO BOX. You must enter a street address.

If the address you entered during registration is incorrect, your UPS package needs to be re-directed and UPS needs to make the address correction. You will be responsible for the additional $25.00 dollars, address correction fee charged by UPS.

My Court requires Identity Verification how does that work?

Various Courts are now requiring, all students to prove their Identity while taking the final exam. These counties are Alameda County Courts, El Dorado County Courts, Humboldt county courts, Kern County Courts, Madera County Courts, Merced county courts, San Bernardino County Courts, San Diego County Courts, Santa Barbara County Courts, Stanislaus County Courts Tulare County Courts, and Tuolumne County Courts. This is a procedure where you will be required too show proof of your Identity, complete the Final Exam In-front of the notary, and have your final exam Notarized. You will need to print out your final exam and take it to the Notary Public. At the Notary Public office they will provided you with an "All Purpose Acknowledgment Form"

Don't Worry! To meet this requirement it will be necessary for you to use the services of a Notary Public. You can find a Notary Public in the yellow pages or on the Internet. Notary Publics can be located at Escrow Offices, Banks, Private Mailbox services, Kinko's and there are mobile Notary Publics also. (Any fee's required by the Notary Public will be your Responsibility.)
